Eterno TimePieces are looking for watch face designs for new smartwatch applications. Our applications are currently on Android Wear (Wear OS) - however, we'll soon be extending those to other platforms. Example images mentioned below can be seen here: https://www.eterno-time.com/resources
For this watch face we are looking for feminine designs that have the appearance of a physical watch - the surface should be lifelike and may even be rendered in 3D to provide the appearance of depth. Because this design will be used in a smartwatch app, we will need you to build 4 elements:
1. The watch face background - complete with your design elements, tick marks, numbers, etc. Background example provides an example of this. We will want at least two versions of this: an "active" version and an "ambient" version. The ambient version is for when the watch is not being looked at and will likely be much darker in colour and may be missing some details to reduce battery consumption. It would also be favourable if you can make a "night" version that is darker and has some luminous components - see the Night Mode example.
2. Circular complications - we've shown an example watch face with three circular complications. Note that you don't need to provide any information inside the complication, just the border and background (as a single image). The watch face app will draw these, so you need to provide them separately.
3. Watch hands - we're looking for all three hands to be provided as separate files and assume that the watch will draw the seconds hand above the minutes and hours hands. If you have provided a "night" version for the background you may also want to provide a "night" version for the hands.
4. A complete render - all of the pieces together so that we can see how you think it should all fit together.
Note: This won't actually be used in the watch application - but will potentially be used in the app store listing or other marketing.
To help make things consistent the image dimensions we're looking for are:
1. Background: 1600x1600px
2. Complications: 400x400px
3. Hands: 100x1000px (maximum)
4. Complete render: 1600x1600px
A final comment: smartwatches have limited battery life, so darker colours are often favoured by owners. However, most watches spend a long time in ambient mode and only short times in active mode every day, so a well thought combination of active and ambient means that bright or light colours can still be used.

I'm working on this. In the meantime, so we know in advance, besides the resolution in which you need the files, what would be the desired format? Would you be ok with files saved and delivered directly as psd? And, if I understand correctly, you would be needing three files (ambient, active, night) for background, three hands and complications for a total of, at least, 15 files (that would be three for background, three for each hand and, at least, three for complications). Would I be somewhat correct about that? Thanks.
