Please read this important information first:

- I own and run a number of Youtube channels.
- The issue i have is in finding good talent to create videos.
- One issue i have is that i conduct a traditional hiring campaign, then i interview, then i choose someone, and often they prove to be disappointing.
- Therefore, whilst competitions of this nature are normally reserved for smaller jobs like logos etc, i'm conducting a competition. In fact, a few; for a few different types of niches All listed separately).
- I can completely understand if your first thought is "i'm not going to all the trouble to make a video for this guy, only to risk not getting paid!". And if that's the case, i respect that. However, whilst i will of course pay the winner, what will come out of this is me choosing someone to create a few videos for me each week, every week.
- Hence, i'd prefer it if you only applied if you felt you could take on a more permanent role.
- Once i choose someone for more regular work, we can separately determine price per video etc, and of course this regular work will be run through freelancer.com.
- Please note that if you do not win this competition, i commit to NOT using what you have created on youtube - this is NOT about trying to obtain a few videos for one low price. Its about finding someone who i know can do the work.

This competition is to make a 10 minute video on a relaxing nature sound. This might be gentle rain, rain on a window, soft thunder & lightning, a stream. You choose.

Please don't simply find an existing video under the Creative Commons license on YT (I will be running each entry through software that will immediately tell me if the same video content already exists on YT).

Find a free (from payment and copyright) vid from, say Pexels.com, and loop it to make ten minutes.

Keep in mind when doing this that if a few freelancers submit an entry, they will probably look similar. So please try and stand out in some way with the approach you take to editing.

To make this more realistic i have attached an intro which needs to be added to the start of the video

As per the title, only entries with a thumbnail will be considered. If anything, this is the most important part of the job because if someone doesn't click on the video, it doesn't matter how good the video is.
Also, if each video entry is similar, the way i will be determining the winner is via the best thumbnail.

Please note that when i go to do these on a daily basis, each video will be hours long. The reason i'm just requesting 10 minutes is because i'm using this as a sample/test.

  Hi Ashwin. This one is even easier than that. It’s really a matter of grabbing a short vid clip from a site like pexels.com (of a nature sound), and looping it to make it 10 mins long. Plus thumbnail of course.

  Hi rodrigo. Thanks for tour interest. I’m going to embarrass myself here and say that I don’t even know what that is.
  I guess the easiest way to think of it is, the copyright-free vid you grab (from Pexels, pixabay etc) will already have the sound let taken care of. ie. it will already have the sound of the rain in the video provided.

Hi Bernard. I had a couple of queries. Firstly, do you want us to make use of only one video about nature or can we use multiple videos and edit them? And secondly, can we download any nature sound and use it in loop from any source for this competition? Regard, Raj.

  Hi Raj. Thanks for your interest. First up, any nature sound is fine. I would tend to use just the one visual. For example, video of rain steaming down in front of a lamppost at night time, or a waterfall, or thunder out of a window. I’d keep it all much the same because it has to make the viewer feel like they’re in that situation (eg sitting looking at the rain outside or falling asleep to it).
