We are USTravel, a work and travel agency with headquarters in Romania, offering people the opportunity to travel across the globe and experience different cultures since 2005. While our Work and Travel USA program has been our biggest success to date, moving forward we want to rebrand our company in order to reflect the values and programs that we offer today, but at the same time the respect of our customers and the experience we have gathered throughout the years.

This is why we are looking for you, an experienced designer with the right combination of vision and skill to help us with the rebranding of our company. We are looking for a long-term agreement, so whoever gets picked in the end will receive an offer for an extended collaboration with us, so please only apply and submit your work if you are willing to continue our collaboration afterwards.

As a base for any rebranding campaign we are going to need a logo, something new, fresh and reflective of our experience and professionalism. Show us your vision by designing a new logo for our company, along with three promotional posters for one of our offers on each continent (Work and Travel USA, Work in UK, Teach in Thailand). The posters should reflect the targeted audience for that program as:
- Work and Travel USA is aimed towards young students looking for the American Dream in a summer filled with adventures and fun.
- Work in UK is a program aimed towards people of all ages, looking for a job in UK and who might want to move there permanently in the future.
- Teach in Thailand is a cultural exchange program aimed towards people speaking english fluently and willing to spend a few months teaching it in schools across Thailand.
Above everything else we want to see your talent and vision, so please restrain from using stock images as much as you can, as we are looking to rebrand our company with something new and representative for us, not something we might have seen before on the web.
The posters should be in A3 format (297 x 420 mm / 11.7 x 16.5 in )

Hello everyone!

First of all we would like to thank all of your for your work in this contest, we were simply blown off by the amount of entries we received and the interest you showed for our project. We feel honored to see so many great designers in one place and with that being said, the choice to award a winner wasn’t an easy one. However, in the end only one contestant can be the winner, and after hours of discussions and debates within our company we have decided that entry #523 is the most qualified for our needs and we look forward to a long-term collaboration with our contest winner, Iulia.

As a reminder to all contestants: The contest will be closing in 3 days, so for everyone who has submitted a logo and received feedback from us, but hasn't designed the requested banners yet, you still have until Thursday to submit your entries for the banners. Winners will be picked only from the contestants who have submitted the logo + the 3 promotional banners as requested. We will then take the Friday to look over all the valid entries and discuss them within the company before picking the winner and extend our collaboration offer to him/her. As always, new entries for logos as well as banners are open to all contestants. We haven't picked a winner yet and we won't until Friday, as we have to look over all of them and discuss them with everyone to see which one best fits our interest.

  Thank you for your interest Vukasin, as we've said before we feel like $300 is more than enough to justify the work for one logo and 3 banners (it will probably require no more than 5-6 hours of work for an experienced designer). The reason why we are asking for the banners before hand as well is because we need to make sure that the designer we pick in the end is capable of handling the coming tasks. There is much more work to come, including designs for our website and even more promotional materials. Picking someone who created a logo which can literally be done in minutes, but wouldn't be able to work on more complex designs would be a gamble, one that we are not willing to take. We value all the work we've received so far and we feel honored to have so many great designers as a part of our content, however only one can be chosen to collaborate with us in the future, and we need to be sure that one is capable of handling the work that will follow.

Mixing logo design task with banner entries will give you very distorted results. A creative mind, who can come unique logo idea usually is a poor banner designer.
