  Kyokahn, thank you for your unbiased support towards your fellow freelancers. For those who have been offended at his offers of assistance, I ask that you would carefully reconsider his angle in doing so before lashing out with any negative remarks. I realize that our realm has become rather cut throat, but we should be elated, not offended, when someone steps up and provides some positive feedback for his fellow designers. No one here is required to act on any advice offered, but I highly welcome feedback in any form and thrive off of bouncing ideas around with other designers. Something that someone else may have overlooked or misunderstood could be resolved and allow that artist the best possible chance at developing an incredible piece of work for the client. As an avid supporter and participant in the vaping community, I want the client to receive the best representation that we can offer them.

  First. What's the name of the company/business now? What's the business about 'cause I really don't get it. You said that is "business in the vapor" (?!?!) then you said "electronic cigarette" and in the end you said "our business is all about helping our customers focus on what's important in their business." NOW! Which is it?
  
  Second: Who the hell are you Kyokahn? 'Cause it's not seems that you are the project owner. Why are you giving information about colors and/or type of business etc? Why are you misleading other freelancers? And why are you on this contest if you are the one that give advices like you own this project/contest?

     Hi Cabeiri, I'm just a new freelancer who knows and uses e-cigarettes. I actively participate in the e-cig forums and understand the business and the community. I'm in the contest and I give advice because I may not be the best designer for the owner, so I pass on my knowledge because I care about e-cigatettes personally and support the cause. I gave direct advice to one person as she got a low score and upon requesting feedback the owner didn't reply so I offered my insight on the matter. Please understand, I care because of personal convictions and want this project to be successful, and please do your research if you don't understand the business.
     You are not being offensive, but your comment is rude.

     Stop giving advices. You are not the contest holder. Stop telling people what colours to use in designs. It's very important for a designer to know what's the current name of the business so he or she knows not to repeat that name in the logo, so the designers know in which direction should go with their design, stop telling them that "The current brand is unnecessary for us to do our job" - it's very important for re-branding. It's also very important to know what is the current tag line, if any is used, so the designers/copyrighters do not use the same tag line or go in the same direction, that it's not re-branding if you go in the same direction.
     
     The more info you get the more you can do you're job better. So stop telling people something else. Please, just do your designs submit them and ask for a review and feedback and go from there to a better design.
     
     It's great that you want this project to be successful, but keep it to your self. Thank you.

  Freelancers, a few things to consider: This is for wholesale, target market is retailers. Do not mention Tobacco, it's exactly what e-cigarette companies are NOT about. Do not make health claims, words such as "safe" or "health" in the name or slogan may get the company in trouble with regulators.
  I want to win this as much as everyone else, but I support the cause of electronic cigarettes replacing tobacco and a wholesaler's success may change the life of many people. Too much? :)

     This is about electronic cigarettes. The current brand is unnecessary for us to do our job, as he's trying to re-brand. They need a new name, slogan and possibly a logo to go with it. My advise would be to stay away from health claims and not to mention tobacco while designing for these companies, as they could get penalized. I have plenty of experience in the matter actually :)

     I will. Please consider this is not for the retail market. Your logo/banner targets end-users and not already dedicated companies. The design is nice, although I'd consider removing the background color so it can be used on webpages with black or white background.
