I work at the intersection of creativity and technology. With over a decade of experience, my interests and work span from humanoid robots and self-driving cars to implementing new and exciting media in the arts and interaction design.
I received graduate training in Robotics at New York University, USA and undergraduate instruction in Electrical Engineering at the National University of Sciences and Technology, Pakistan.
Previously, I have built upon the infrastructure provided by OpenAI to create new learning algorithms for robotic arms. In grad school, I led the robotics team of my university to victory in the 2018 Intelligent Ground Vehicle Competition where we built a life-sized self-driving car. For several years, I have worked in an advanced robotics lab where I taught courses, led a humanoid robot football team, and supervised hundreds of robotics, electronics and computer science projects.
The following is a subset of the software, hardware and platforms I have advanced skills in:
C++, Python, LaTex
Matlab
Solidworks
Arduino, Raspberry pi
Proteus
ROS, ROS 2
Gazebo, Pybullet, OpenAI Gym, Mujoco
PyTorch
