Hello! I am a freelance writer and full-time college student! After many years of raising kids and working as a freelance writer, I am currently working on my second degree, with concentrations in Sociology and Psychology. Over the years I have written for magazines, newspapers and Web sites covering many different areas of interest. I have an extensive background in research and particularly enjoy writing about topics that I have to learn about. My previous professional training was in law (paralegal), but my first love was writing so this is the field that I have decided to dedicate my time to. At this point in my li fe - with my children grown - I am traveling with my husband for his job and pursuing the degrees that I didn't while I was home raising children. Since we are out on the road, I have a lot of time to fill with my coursework and freelance projects. I would like to find projects that could lead to more stable work with an employer, it is much easier to write for one publication or employer; I feel like I would be better able to consistently deliver quality content to employers that I work for after learning what it is that they are looking for! While I am new to this Web site, I do understand that it will take some time to build a reputation here. I have had many years of experience and have samples and clips of my work that can be supplied to potential employers.
