I am a passionate believer in the power of Data and Technology with three to four years of experience in various roles centered around these disciplines. I hold true to the notion that the digital age will be led by analytical data-driven innovations. A data scientist by profession, I am abreast with relevant technologies for data mining, machine learning, predictive analytics and data reporting. I have to say I do have a bias towards R and Python, but I am always open to applying my skills in other technologies if need be, as well as learning new ones. Additionally, I am a contributor to the Data Science portal Kaggle, where I host some datasets with kernels for analysing them. I strive to challenge myself by taking part in competitions hosted on Kaggle as well as other platforms such as DrivenData. A personal goal of mine is to be a major player in the provision of data-driven solutions around the world, with particular emphasis on the African continent.
