I am a graphic designer, copywriter and website designer based in Australia and have run my own marketing company since 2009. With 10+ years in the industry, a masters in media and communications and a love for what I do, I am an efficient and skilled freelancer who enjoys taking on a range of projects including writing, proofreading, graphic design and website design and development. My client wanted a website designed and developed for a range of upcoming experiential retreats she is running across the world.

I also devised am over-arching marketing strategy that incorporated branding, website design and social media.

The client wanted the site to reflect the immersive, relaxing experience that her clients will feel when on retreat.

Single page, parallax sites can be very heavy on loading time. We tweaked every image on the site for its specific purpose to ensure that this beautiful image-laden site not only looks amazing but loads quickly too.
Jane McKay Communications completed a range of tasks that were necessary for the project to be the beautiful (and SEO-friendly) site it is today including:

Branding + web design & development

Website design for a large landscape design company based in Australia. As aesthetics are so important in landscape design, the client wanted to have big images throughout the site.The team at Cameron Outdoor had built a website themselves but were unhappy with the finish and wanted a website design that showcased their projects with a huge range of photos and professional copywriting while incorporating SEO and a responsive design. While a portfolio website design and development are reasonably straightforward, there is a large amount of behind-the-scenes preparation from a creative and technical point of view that needs to take place prior to the project being ready to launch. Jane McKay Communications completed a range of tasks that were necessary for the project to be the beautiful (and SEO-friendly) site it is today including:
