I started work at Pearson Lanka Pvt Ltd as a Oracle database administrator back in 2018. After that in January of 2021 due to organizational changes I had to move to Site reliable engineering(SRE) team where I had to take care of Mongo, Cassandra, Mysql and Oracle database technologies. Those days company was mainly looking for cloud technologies like AWS so that they can get rid of their own data centers. I had to take care of database migration and also application migration things at the same time, where they mainly used CI/CD for the migration of applications therefore I had to play some kind of DevOps role also. After completion of more than three years of Pearson journey in July of 2021 I decided to move to MillenniumIT ESP as a data and middleware engineer. Currently I am working at MillenniumIT ESP.
