I Mr.Aditya AJit Gupte currently completed my Master of Science In Aerospace Engineering from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University , Daytona Beach,FLorida . I am currently pursuing my doctorate in aerospace from Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai. I have done my thesis in effect of thermal deformation in a scramjet test combustion facility using coupled thermo structural analysis where I have used WIND-US and NASTRAN as my solver. This was funded by NASA Glenn Research center and DARPA. I have published a paper in the AIAA propulsion conference which was well received by officials by Pratt and whitney.I have also wworked with Federal aviation administration on complete FEA analysis of Hawked Beechcraft aircraft in order to find out the key location for cracks and stresses around them. I have also worked on a project using fluent to simulate the dynamic meshing of a turbine to accurately predict the wake and the unsteadiness taking place behind a turbine and also optimizing the design of my turbine using CFD morphing. I have a good amount of knowledge in performing simulations using parallel processes also. This research is supported by North Atlantic University. This research is especially useful for performing flutter analysis in FLUENT. I have also worked on performing thermo-structural analysis of pensacola bridge for predicting thermal shrinkages and cracking failure taking place in a portion of the bridge and means to avoid such cracking. This research is supported by the florida center for advanced aero-propulsion. I am also working on performing crash worthiness analysis using LS-DYNA and ANSYS in order to predict the deformation of the seat and the seat belts under FAR regulations . I have taken several courses in the area of structures, structural simulation and finite element analysis. These courses were aimed at given a good amount of knowledge in the area of structures, finite element analysis and fracture mechanics . During my Phd , I have taken various courses on design of control systems and in CFD. My main area of research in Phd is fluid structure analysis taking place in active control surfaces. In this research, my main aim is to understand the physics of fluid structure interaction in synthetic jets and to use it on current wings as a substitute for ailerons and other passive control surfaces. My main area of interest is in structural design and analysis. I have a passion for designing and solving problems related to cfd, fea and multidisciplinary analysis . Also time management and completing the work in the stipulated time is always been my goal while doing simulations and modeling. 5 years down the line I see myself working as a design and simulation engineer and working on new designs and innovations for the company I work in.
