Enrique/Rick is horrible. Avoid him at all costs. Read below about the project, but most importantly, we agreed he would waive his last invoice. He then reneged on that deal, tried to steal another $300, and wouldn't reply to an email, text, or phone call. That is an unethical and disgusting way to operate. He told me he would finish 10 scenes in 3 weeks for about $1,500. He missed every deadline and delivered poor quality work. Every week I got a message "I'm a day late - sorry". But his invoice was paid (coincidentally around the time of the deadline). After paying $500+, I had ONE (of ten) scene. ONE. And he even noted in his message to me that it wasn't done. And then he tried to collect another $300..for that ONE scene, that wasn't complete. That's right. He told me 10 scenes for $1,500, and I got 1/2 a scene and he tried to bill me $800. The worst part is that I thought "OK - it wasn't a match and I lost $500 for nothing. Get over it and move on." We had a phone call and agreed he would give me what we created, and waive the last $300. A day later he tried to collect the $300 and made me pay to dispute it. He lost the dispute since it was clear he delivered nothing of value after 3 weeks and $500. Now my project is a month behind. Avoid him. Avoid him. Avoid him. Ps. If he hadn't tried to screw me out of the last $300 I wouldn't have written this. That scummy behavior has to be noted so you are aware who you're dealing with.
