Created a SQL database to store the analytical results and a window application tool to save/retrieve the results from the database using [login to view URL]. The oral defense of my MS degree was based on this research work. · Developed a proxy server that monitors the traffic generated by the browsers that use it using Java. Upon receiving a client (browser) request through TCP/IP connection, the proxy server creates another TCP/IP connection to the actual destination web server and transmits the client's request. The monitor forwards the web server's response back to the client. The monitor also supports an option to dump all of the traffic to a file. · Implemented a multimedia web presentation project in which a time-based, streaming multimedia presentation that combines audio, video, images, and text using HTML, XML and SMIL. · Implemented a client-server application using TCP/IP and C/C++. The application is about a customer making hotel reservation. The customer (client) uses an interface to send a reservation request along with the bank information. The hotel (server) checks the room availability and send the request to the bank (server) to verify the customer’s bank information. The standard socket method is used for client/server communications. · Built a web application for a company to maintain its employee’s information on a SQL Server 2000 database using ASP, ADO, VBScript, stored procedures and database during the course of web development. The main functions of the application include adding/editing/searching the employee’s information. The work can be found at: [login to view URL] · Created a database on Oracle for a movie store to maintain the movie inventory and the customer information using SQL and PL/SQL. A user interface was built using Pro*C for movie store people to maintain the database.
