Scope: MY client have file server, which is windows server, they have request share folder for user share file only, but no one manage these files or folder. I would like setup a windows script / .bat file, schedule checking this folder & deleting. Budget: US100 Requirement: FOLDER NAME: 1) SHARE FOLDER 2) SHARE FOLDER/30daysDelete Action: User place files or folder in SHARE FOLDER today, for example 1 July 2018, after +30 days move these files or folders into 30daysDelete folder, and then more +30 days really deleted all from 30 daysDelete folder.

Hi, So i maked a batch file to delete the content of 30daysDelete that old(er) 30days and another batch file to move the content of SHARE FOLDER that old(er) than 30days to 30daysDelete They will work once in the day to check the files, if there's a file that 30days older, so it will move or delete Tested in my system and it works Contact me

Hi, I'm an expert in Visual Basic 6.0. I have built many applications over the past 18 years. I can build a visual interface for you to manage the folders on the server. You can do this for as many folders you like. The system will run a different command line application, which I will also build, every day or every hour. You could create a scheduled task for running this application in the Task Scheduler. I can help you create that if you are not sure about it. So you can manage the folders using the GUI application. Also, you can set the rules for deletion as well in this application. The command line application will move or delete the folders, based on the configuration you had set in the GUI application. Good day. Do understand that you would like to move files from shared folder that are 30 or more days old to another delete folder and from there delete it after 30 days. Not worked on batch scripts for a long long time but can work on it and deliver the script that is scheduled to run on a daily basis in windows scheduler. Will write and test the script before handing over. Need a day's time to get everything right. If everything works fine, then only you have to pay me. Please let me know whether I can start on it. Also please let me. Know whether the shared folder is same for all users or is it different for different users. Thank you.
