Scrape data from IMDb and wikipedia for user made plot summaries of 5000 films

I want a data set made from the internet movie database ([login to view URL]) of their top rated 5000 movies with plot summaries from imdb and wikipedia. I believe there is an interface to get most of the data. ([login to view URL]) [login to view URL] most important data I want is the user generated summaries and synopsis for each movie. These are on a second page. I would like the normal data IMDb provides as well (genre, title, year released, etc), but I don’t think the interface provides the summary or synopsis. Not every imdb page has a summary or synopsis. So for the shawshank redemption, here is the imdb page: [login to view URL] And the plot summary page: [login to view URL] There is also a short summary on the main page that I would like in the data set. For the Shawshank Redemption it is this: “Two imprisoned men bond over a number of years, finding solace and eventual redemption through acts of common decency.” Here is the list of IMDb’s top 1000 rated movies. The next thing I would like in the same data set is the Wikipedia plot summary of each movie as well. To find the Wikipedia page from the IMDb title you could combine the movie title + the year it was released and use the I feel lucky search feature.
