SMS Python server IP finding code debug

This project is for code debug of a restaurant table tracking application (Seating Management System). SMS Python server IP finding code debug: Please read this entire description before placing a bid. I have a Python application that runs on a Raspberry Pi and communicates with a Java application running on Windows 10. The Python application is running well for the most part. The issue I am trying to resolve has to do with when the IP of the server should change and the Python code needs to detect that the IP has changed and then do the polling through the possible server IP addresses from 3 to 254. Currently, when the Python application starts, it runs the server IP finding code and connects to the server and functions as required. What needs to happen is the server IP finding code needs to be put into a function that can be call during startup and when the server IP no longer is responding at the old IP address. I have a system with one Windows 10 box designated as the server, with several Windows systems designated as clients and the Raspi as a client. The Raspi is a special client that converts the TCP/IP stream from the server for communications with custom hardware on the Raspi serial port. The conversion code is working well, only the issue when the server IP address changing need to be fixed. I have the server, one client and the Raspi on a router that can be accessed from the Internet. The server system has Team Viewer and Putty for access to the Raspi. To do this project, you need to either understand how to use Team Viewer with Putty to access the Raspi over the Internet OR have a Raspi and Windows 10 systems to run both applications to debug the code. I will provide the application code so it can be ran on your hardware. This project is to solve one bug. Any additional bugs that are introduced while solving this bug will become part of this project and need to be resolved before the milestone is released. The code you provide should be tested and verified before it is released to my test team. Just throwing code at my test team that does not work and waste their time is not acceptable. You will be given three chances to provide code that function correctly. If the third patch from you does not fix the one bug or introduces other bugs, then the milestone will contested and I will find another programmer to fix this bug. You will also select the amount of time it will take you to fix this bug. The amount of time it takes you is part of the programmer selection process. If you do not complete by your end date, then the milestone will be contested and I will find another programmer to fix this bug.
