Right now, the requirements are very generic and simple. This application can be developed in MS Excel using VBA macros if required. One sheet 1, you can enter current labor capacity for every LOB, productivity metrics for each machine in LOB, manufacturing targets/projections. One sheet 2, you can graphs showing current labor capacity, projected capacity, delta. We can make it a bit complex and use constraint-based scheduling - if you want to see "what if" you did not increase labor? We can add cost analysis too.
