So I am trying to get a script written that will detect the word, hello being said. It can ignore everything but this one word. I would like to be able to accept .mp3 and or .wav files and just return a value of true or false. The mp3 file might contain a bunch of other words but I just need to detect this one alert word of hello :)

Hello! I would like to implement the script for you. I assume you need to recognize speech, not songs. Probably, existing English speech recognizers will good enough at your task. In this case, the price of the script is 30$. Otherwise, I will need to prepare a lot of samples with and without the word 'hello', build, test and tune some models.
