Opayo Payment Gateway required for Perl-based ecommerce system.

Our custom-written ecommerce software needs to have the payment gateway upgraded so that it'll operate with Opayo v4.0 rather than the current v2.2 protocol. The changeover needs to take place before March 14th as they are discontinuing anything below v4.0 on that date.

The existing gateway is available for anyone who wants to see it, as it'll let them see which subroutines it naturally plugs into. It should hopefully help to shed light on what's required. At present, our gateway takes the customer information (and order details), writes it to a temporary file, contacts Opayo, performs the transaction, and then posts back to the site to retrieve the details from the temp file and completes the purchase. It might actually be quicker and easier to ignore the existing gateway software we have for v2.2 and simply write a brand new one for v4.0 rather than have to retrofit it although, based on the documentation to migrate from v2.3 to v4.00, there doesn't appear to be much of a difference.

Any more information can be supplied on request. A dev site can also be set up if necessary.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a Perl-based ecommerce package, so a working knowledge of Perl would be required.
