Build Chrome Extension / App to print Labels Silently through URL Handler

# Abstract Create a Chrome extension "Labelprinter" to silently print a label to the configured default printer. # Summary We will call the chrome extension from our intranet website in order to silently print a label on the printer that is configured in the extension. The information to be printed must be passed from our intranet website to the extension (url_handler). The app then renders the labels and prints it on the default printer. The application must also be able to generate datamatrix barcodes to be printed on the labels. Please check out “Batch [login to view URL]” for exact style of labels and for fonts and font sizes that must be followed. If no default printer selected return error message when print function called. ## 1) Batch Label Label Dimensions: 50x50mm Print information, batch number coded as Datamatrix. Text replaces “-“ with break line for better presentation on label. ### Parameters • Warehouse: varchar (Example: “Incoming Goods - ESODE”) ## 3) Traceability Label Small Label Dimensions: 6,35x6,35mm Must print multiple labels. Basically from SnStart to SnEnd. The barcode information is a combination of Work Order (R1800269) and Sn (leading zeroes 4 digits). Example below will print labels: - R18002690001 - R18002690002 - … - R18002690010 ### Parameters • WorkOrder: varchar (Example: R1800269) • SnStart: int (Example: 1) • SnEnd: int (Example: 10) ## 4) Traceability Label Medium Label Dimensions: 10x20mm This is the same as the small label, however barcode is bigger and number printed in human readable text next to it. ### Parameters • Work Order: varchar (Example: R1800269) • SnStart: int (Example: 1) • SnEnd: int (Example: 1000) ## 5) Kitting Label Label Dimensions: 50x50mm Information printed.
