I need to record readings from many sensors then store that data on an external server. Arduino reads to a Raspberry PI Serial that has a touchscreen to display data for that node in the physical world and manage any user input. Then all the data from every node ends up stored in the server with timestamps etc. Most of the work is already programmed i just need help polishing and finishing it up.

Hello, I have questions: - if the main tasks is passing the information to the web, why we still need arduino as there is wifi module within raspberry Pi (especially for B+ series) - I realize the arduino code already programmed, but considering on question above, manage code and data within raspberry would be easier and flexible enough instead of using C within arduino. Let me know your comment

I can definitely help you with this project because I have recently completed one similar project. I have developed a furnace controller with Raspberry Pi and arduino which can save data in a server with time stamp, plot graph from data as well. I have made raspberry pi as a server and use to store it in MySQL database. I have also serially communicated arduino for controlling other dependent devices with the furnace.
