Affliliate Manager

Seeking an energetic Online & Affiliate Marketing Manager reporting to the Director of Marketing. Excellent organizational and communication skills and an entrepreneurial can-do spirit are key requirements. The position is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and aggressively growing our Affiliate and SEM channels. This position will work closely with our marketing team and will be responsible for developing the overall strategy and direction for each program, build and monitor forecasts, develop new partnerships, and drive engagement of existing relationships. He/she will act as the primary liaison with all Affiliate Networks and Paid online marketing vendors. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Develop overall Affiliate strategy, planning and budgeting and proactively identify areas of improvements in program management processes and implement solutions. Day-to-day account management, focusing on building and cultivating strong, trusted relationships including negotiating and managing all contracts and commission structures. Manage the day to day relationship with the SEM agency. Drive additional growth opportunities within Paid Search, remarketing, display, and other online marketing activities. Execute day-to-day affiliate and Paid Search management including ongoing development and deployment of fresh marketing creative, affiliate communications, i.e. newsletters, promotional offers, affiliate payments, and dispute resolution. Ensure Paid Search activities are within budget, obtaining an ideal ROI and ultimately growing online sales performance. Ensure all publishers have access to marketing tools including banner ads and text links. Stay updated on Affiliate and Paid Search Industry trends and developments. Handle all communications with affiliate partners via phone and email, and help them to grow their and Spafinder’s revenue through this channel. Build awareness of Spafinder Wellness Affiliate Program by attending affiliate conferences, networking, etc. Increase the number and quality of affiliates through both networks (CJ) and direct relationships. Develop travel industry marketing and affiliate strategies, source partners, run financial scenarios to determine most profitable partnerships and programs. Manage direct relationships with travel industry partners, complete contracts and execution of agreements and negotiations. Monitor channel performance and recommend timely actions to optimize programs. Manage audience segmentation and profile optimization for travel industry partnerships. Direct production of creative assets, newsletter, sales materials, online programs and promotions for both channels. Work closely with digital product team in reviewing site analytics, trends, and issues; consult on new web projects to ensure best practices for driving and optimizing site traffic and conversion. Monitor display and affiliate activity, analyze performance, identify areas of improvement, and recommend ways to increase affiliate-generated revenues. Report on updates within networks such as updates on new initiatives, opportunities and capabilities. Present regular analysis reports including number of display and affiliate partners recruited, impressions, click through rate, conversion rates, and costs (commissions earned for affiliates). Troubleshoot technical questions/issues for affiliate partners. Have a strong understanding on how traffic is created from a site to a conversion (i.e. tracking, link structure, tagging and analytical reports). Understand and analyze KPIs and metrics for orders, ships and revenue. Recommend and implement changes to the relationships based on the results. Perform other duties as assigned.
