We're a very small team building a piece of software. Our skills lie in creativity, networking and operations, we have neither the time nor the experience to deliver a market analysis that we can use as the basis for raising the next round of investment. Following some strategic changes, I need some more in depth market research to identify the total addressable size of our potential market, down to the segments that we can target. From that we'll have a funnel heading in our direction that will demonstrate to investors our segmented addressable market. To start with, I need to answer the same questions about each of the following market sectors. QUESTIONS 1. What is the current size of the software market (please note, not the market, but the software market)? 2. How is it growing? 3. What are the segments within that market? 4. How big are the segments? MARKET SECTORS (global) 1. Law 2. Education 3. Consultancy 4. Financial analysis We need to have URL links to all the research, so that it's all backed up. Once I have the size of the segments for the above, I can move on to a greater in-depth analysis, with your help.
