I am founder and managing director of a small education orientated ".com" social network.
Our company strategy is to acquire users through either the merger and/or acquisition of carefully chosen loss making "digital content" businesses that would complement our existing framework and purpose. To date I have identified two-three businesses that meet this criteria.
We are looking for an analyst who has a strong understanding of UK based small company business with a view to producing a visually and factually compelling but objective report for use in gaining investor support for the proposed M&A strategy
The target companies have been loss making for a number of years, but have good products and large user bases.
We feel our social network provides the logic for these otherwise unrelated digital content businesses coming together (under any structure-but where we remain the majority owner)
The objective is to find real estate, HR, operational as well as sales & marketing synergies through the packaging of content through our site and a different sales/marketing strategy and, crucially business model which i would expect any analyst to verify, add to or challenge once it has been shared
Please note: I have already been able to search Companies House to establish historic Report & Accounts, and have established the people involved, major shareholders/creditors but am looking to expand on this and package the findings in a clear report that will help me find support for the transactions and establish the logic under pinning the transactions
