Hi! I'm an undergraduate data analyst, and when it comes to data visualization, never neglect proposals! I'm very familiar to statistics and regressions (and my exams scores can confirm it). R is my favorite software to use, and in fact has a variety of tools that will be useful to get the best models for your dataset. I've been using R for two years and I had the opportunity to present some data analysis and regressions projects (uploaded on my kaggle). The delivery of the project depend on how much is the dataset large, but usually for a big dataset(500-1000 variables) it takes 2-3 days for me since I'm stilly studying at university.
