1. There is a ForEach loop in my code that runs a SQL Query, that SQL Query requires roughly 20 minutes to run. I would like the For Each Loop to run once and then wait 30 minutes then run again but this time NOT running the SQL Query but instead running a file copy command I have already written in.
2. Currently the PowerShell runs and will return a chart with data, if there is NO date add in to the code when you run it i.e. ./[login to view URL] the Code returns results which I dont want to see. I would prefer if NO date is added that it run without returning a chart but still executes #1 above. If a date is added like ./[login to view URL] 2020-03-20 then the above SQL and file copy will NOT be run but a result will be returned (No 30 minute wait).
Hi Nathan,
It's now clear to me how to update the .ps1 script to accomplish the 2 remaining tasks.
#1 It will need to add a second run WITHOUT running the SQL script but doing the copy command. Using the QueryTimeout already waits until the SQL script is executed.
#2 It will need some conditions to be placed based whether the date was provided or not.

Hey there,
I'm a Systems Engineer with coding skills.
I had developed tons of PowerShell scripts.
I'm downloading the attached file to check.
I can help.
Regards.
I can help you with the code above. What I don't understand is what should be returned in case of a date is added to as a parameter to the ps1 but neither the SQL query or the file copy will run...
