I have native app projects (same app in java and swift) utilising (same web view) for a social networking site(CakePHP).
Though there are some native features, the current look of pages (form, display) is more like responsive website rather professional modern application look. So, we want to change it and make it more beautiful & modern using available design technologies (such as material design) to make it more professional looking.
So, need someone to reskin apps. As it is web view, it is both apps utilizing the same view.
After re-skinning need help with the uploading it to respective stores (we will do it but need assistance if there is any problem).
The task is more a design (changing the existing app look changing CSS and introduction other design elements). No need to extend any features and coding, however, if minor corrections are required to make the design work some changes in programming level may need to be done (but none major task). No need to change existing structure as well. (whatever is there will remain, but the design will be more professional or modern) mostly form, listing element, buttons, look of the page etc.
However, it is more than just changing the colour or not just a responsive website).
The backend of the site is in CakePHP (but since it has API, ideally you may not have to touch it). There are separate views(design) files for web view of the [login to view URL] also uses MATERIAL design CSS even now. However, both iOS and Android utilizes same web view link (Should look good on both iOS and Android).
It is changing/updating/modifying CSS and assets files to make existing HTML/CSS. The task may not be that big as one CSS will be utilized in whole design (form will have the same look throughout the app). The layout or storyboard files provides just skeleton to the app; some modification may be needed to make it match with the changes in web view (if needed). For example, menu, header etc.
The ideal would be making some graphical mock-ups (for the existing structure or pages) and changing CSS or assets files as per it after [login to view URL] XML or storyboarding is required as it is using webview.
Please don’t:
