I'm looking to add 2 icons like that.
They need to be placed as a "Menu bar item" from appearance->menu so that it can be removed/hidden depending on of if the customer is loggedin/loggedout, or so that it is hidden from mobile view.

First icon: "News".
- This simply contains latest blog posts that we post on the site, sorted from newest to oldest, displaying 10 items.
Second icon: "Notifications"
- Displays new order status updates. Order status is from WooCommerce order status plugin, as shown here: [login to view URL]
- The order status needs to be able to link that specific Manage Order page when clicked
- In addition to order status change updates, we have a webchat system for our customers with their assigned freelancer. When there is an unread message, there should be a text "You have an unread message, click here to open."

Must show "red circle icon" like on freelancer.com when there is unread news item. Use cookies/whatever you need it for that.
