I require a minor oscommerce modification as follows:- 1) Add one extra field to the customer registration page 2) When a customer registers if they input information into this field or the existing "company" field they automatically get placed into a "wholesale" customer group. Note : the site already has the customer discount/grouping contribution installed. If when the customer registers they do not input data into the "company" field or the new field then they get placed into the default "retail" group.
