Existing Wordpress website fully operational and a top 10,000 global website based on Quantcast traffic seeks an innovative wordpress expert for ongoing development and maintenance contract.
Must be highly skilled and experienced with Wordpress, Wordpress plugins, Troubleshooting testing.
High visitor volume enviroment demands skills for maximizing delivery of web pages while delivering an exceptional user experience.
Must be proficient with Mysql, Php 5, Lamp enviroment and knowledge of Varnish.
Website operates a dedicated server with firewall and hot metal backup for redundance and security. Additional non production test enviroment is fully operational for new development testing.
Must have exceptional skills with html, CSS, responsive design and rss feed technologies.
Performance monitoring and delivery monitoring. Scalable delivery and high performance page development is a cornerstone to website success you must have skills to deliver high performance stats
Some understanding of SEO and web page performance testing required.
Developer is required to enage and communicate all action items through cleint maintained Basecamp project management enviroment that includes Tick time tracking for all billiable work assocaited to project.
Availablility. Must have 24 accessibility to Developer for project emergencies and security related issues. Scheduled development and monthly maintenance should be handled during Non business hours.
Communication. All project task specific communication should be directed through Basecamp project management. All security or emergency related communication shall go through email, text, mobile and or skype with 24 hour coverage and 30 minute responce time required.
Monthly time. On average the website requires between 20 and 40 hours or maintenance and new development monthly.
Technologies. Wordpress, Mailchimp, Openx, DynDNS, PHP 5, Mysql, W3 Total Cache, Varnish, Linux Apache.
This is a long term project with monthly maintenance.
