Hello,
I'm looking for a PHP solution for the following: I want to have a PHP function which will allow me to check a *NIX (Unix/Linux) login. For example I want to be able to do this:
if (check_linux_login($login, $password) == 1) {
// access granted !!
}else{
// error, invalid login
}
Please note that PHP does **NOT** run as root so you'll have to find away around this (for example with a shellscript that runs as root?).
The PHP script(and the shellscript if any) MUST be **COMPLETELY SAFE** against ANY code injection or other vulnerability!
PS: Linux/Unix accounts with no password are NOT allowed to login.
Thank you.
