For an existing TYPO3 CMS website (running Typo3 3.8) with a running lz_gallery extension (v. 0.5.1 running in mode: CMD = singleView) I'd like to get a frontend drop down list as a navigation option where the visitor chooses a picture name to filter results. Further comments: * check out an example gallery at [login to view URL] (1.228 pics online in that gallery) * picture names are token from file names, with a special character as splitting point to cut off file extension names. * pictures in all galleries come in sequences with names ending "-01", "-02" (before the file extension). The drop down menu should reduce all same named sequences to only one item in the list. * results after choosing from drop down list should be either exclusive matches for the choosen item, or all items starting from the choosen item (whatever is easier to program, to me it doesn't matter...).
## Deliverables
1) the PHP class extension should be done through a new class file, to guarantee update independence of the plugin. 2) the drop down list should be included through a HTML marker and wrapped in a CSS class 3) the code will be sent to Luite Van Zelst (owner of that plugin) so it may be shared by others in future versions of the plugin, if Luite decides to include the code.
