The name really says it all!. I have an excel sheet that I will update & upload to a folder on the web regularly, I need the users to be able to enter into search (from a web-page) using a unique index col value (in col A) and if matches the search text string returns back the whole 10-col-wide record or else a (Not found) page.

I prefer the file to remain in its *.xlsx format (2007 ver.), but I can live with converting it to *.csv if I have to. Preference will be given to someone who is willing to also include an (admin only) separate web-page that would allow me to directly add/edit/delete records -specially if *.csv is used-.

I need this job done asap, so please include your completion time frame in your bid.

I expect to receive two plain html pages (one for users to search from & the other for Admin) in addition to the pearl script.

If you are willing to convert the files to CSV format before uploading this will probably be straightforward - as it will allow you to use the DBI module which has a simple and reliable interface. Implementing read- Zaidi
