Need help setting up Wordpress on EC2 instance with installed RDS

I am attempting to connect a wordpress database to a RDS Aurora MySQL. The database was successfully transferred and connected via MySQL Workbench to the RDS. I am able to see the transferred Wordpress files via Dreamweaver and PuTTy. The [login to view URL] on the new wordpress install reflects the RDS MySQL hostname, root password and username. However, I am still getting a 503 error. [login to view URL]
