Role: Lead Unity Developer Level: 7+ Years’ Experience Duration: 6+ months Job Description We are looking for strong Unity3D and C# developers to be responsible for the maintenance and development of applications aimed for various target platforms. Your primary focus will be to maintain and develop code within mobile applications and their integration with back-end services. You will be working with other teams and developers in delivering critical functionality in global apps and therefore a commitment to code quality, collaborative problem solving and creation of quality products is essential, along with a passion for, and strong knowledge of Unity game engine. Responsibilities Build, maintain and improve Unity projects Implement interactive functionality as per communicated design Identification of technical issues and capabilities / limitations of Unity Translate design specification into functional deliverables Communicate with other team members to establish effective pipeline and integrate media assets Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to address and mitigate these problems Maintain code quality, organization, and automatization Contribute ideas to make the asset pipeline more efficient Communicate with the client around technical issues and capabilities / limitations ofUnity Mentor junior team members in best practice and provide escalation point for them Skills Proficient with Unity 2017 .net2 Very strong C# and Object Orientation knowledge Experience using Visual Studio (PC version), Photoshop, 3D apps Knowledge of networking (HTTPS, SignalR streaming, HLS) Strong understanding of Dependency Injection framework and Reflection Experience of Test Driven Development / Behavior Driven Development Knowledge of best practice in continuous integration Degree level education in a relevant subject Excellent knowledge of Unity, including experience with scripting, textures,animation, GUI styles, and user session management Familiarity with level design and planning Strong mathematical skills or experience with game physics Experience optimizing memory and space usage for support of older hardware Prior experience with a well-known mobile title or AAA titles are a significant asset Ability to constantly lean and stay in touch with evolving standards and development technologies Strong understanding of object-oriented programming Knack for writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable code Experience implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests Proficient knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git, SVN Knowledge of iOS/Android and related development tools Nice to have Writing automation scripts in Python Experience with VR frameworks Familiarity with particle systems
