I have read your project specification and understand that you wanted to build mobile application for your already Joomla website. and yes we will not use the webview for the mobile application, because we are using json request and response for the mobile application data sending and receiving. Ex. using mobile application user do any action then from the application system will send json data as request and we have my own custom extension which get the json request and parse it as posting data and as per that we will send back response in json format and mobile app will accept it and parse it to object and it will show in app. my extension is for API and these API we are creating in json request and response.
