Firebase Expert for Map Based Android App Upgrade Urgently Needed

Introduction

I represent a start-up currently based in Lagos, Nigeria. I am looking for a very experienced software developer or agency to help upgrade the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) of a Maps & Navigation android app.

The MVP has been built/written in Kotlin and deployed on Google PlayStore (beta testing). The codebase is in a private GitHub repo and the code architecture used is m.v.i (model view intent) with a touch of m.v.p (or controller classes) to reduce the clutter on the fragments. Some of the major technologies, consoles, libraries and API used to build and deploy the app include Google Maps API, RX Java, databinding, Google PlayStore Console, Google Cloud Console and so on. Firebase will be used for the backend.

Requirements & Deadline

The developer must be very familiar with the listed language, architecture and technologies to reduce onboarding period.

We need developer who can dedicate at least 9 hours per day working on this particular job, because we have a presentation deadline on June 29th 2021, when all upgrades must be successfully tested on the app.

Scope of Work/Milestones

1. Resolve all Code Based Issues, Remove current In-App purchases from Playstore and Update Repo – $50

Technical discovery of App & Source Codes, Resolving Errors in Code Base, making app free to download as opposed to enforcing google play subscription in app which is the current state now (NB:- Leave App registration and login page for now).

2. Redesign App Registration, Connect Frontend App/Data with Firebase Backend and Update Repo – $300

Redesign/enable simple app registration/sign-up and sign-in. Disable alternate types of sign-in like (Facebook or Google sign-in/log-in) for now. Enable forgot password mechanism where app user can reset his password via email. Create simple way to logout and resign in from app. Enable all maps, folders, marker content (including images) and marker content arrangement already stored on device to be stored on firebase backend to control synching between front end devices and back end, making offline and online app usage seamless.

3. Enable Multiple User Sign in and Update Repo – $60

Enable an app user sign-in to the app from multiple android devices at the same time i.e., enable multiple users that i share my login details with to have access to my maps like i would have.

4. Firebase Console Tutoring – $20

Show me how to manually view pending app registrations and how to manually approve/disable app sign-up from within the Firebase Console.

5. Google Playstore (beta testing) Update and Update Repo – $50

The total sum is $480 but an extra $120 is allocated as bonuses for prompt delivery (meeting deadlines) and impressive quality of work during feature testing which makes the total project budget $600.
