I am looking for just a service class to call API that will update location when an app is in the background or foreground. You can just take the location and update in shared preference, I will use it wherever its required and will add further code. It should work in Android O.

Hello, I have gone through your requirements, You want Service that continuously update user current location. So, Yes I am able to do this task. Let me inform you that due to restriction on background task & location updates We must have to do this using Foreground service. Once we start fetching location we have to run notification until we want to stop fetching data. I am very aware of this thing so I can do this task in 4-5 hours.
