I am looking to study wear characteristics using Pin On Plate (POP) rig.
I need to design an exploded view of the linear bearing trays/baths. For example, I need to design baffle, bath, stainless steel toothed racks, gasket, M3 and M5 cap head screws.
The aim is to search whether a modification to the design is possible or not to sustain the serum in the bath of POP rig at an excess frequency of 1 Hz.
The dimensions will be given separately if you know how the POP rig works and what should be done to modify the design.
The wear tests are uni-axial and multi-axial POP
Its better to have a mechanical engineer or medical engineer for this project.
I will be studying conventional UHMWPE pins which is produced using compressing moulding process.
