Please allow me to introduce myself my name is Lisa and I have worked in the travel and Tourism industry for 17 years as an entertainment and events manager for Holiday Parks in the UK, 3-5 star Hotels in Mallorca and Greece as well as on the ships. Part of my role for this was to this to act as a duty manager, work with other departments, carry out audits on other departments and also handle customer complaints on check-in days as well as help with check-in days.
I am now a travel blogger and YouTuber in which I review Hotels and as a reviewer, I look at hotels from both a guest perspective and a management perspective. The things I look for within a hotel are as follows;
1. The staff customer service, how they are presented
2. How clean the room is
3. What the hotel looks like and how clean it is
4. Why guests would come to the venue
As an auditor, I will look for the follow things (If you do not have a list of what you want me to look at but as a hotel inspection company you most likely do)
1. Staff and ensuring all know their roles and presentation
2. Health and safety procedures
3. How your guests receive you on surveys and also on Trip Advisor
4. Decor and presentation of rooms and the rest of the Hotel
5. Is the hotel disability friendly
6. I can make suggestions on how to improve as well
