We are a school in the Middle East and are looking to move all staff and students from Lotus Notes (Domino version 7.0.2FP2 HF144 running on Server 2003) to Office 365. We do not intend to migrate any mailboxes or data but start afresh on Office 365 leaving Notes available for archive purposes. However, rather than moving everybody to Office 365 in one go, we would like to setup a few staff at a time and provide one-to-one individual training for them. This means that we will have some live mailboxes on Office 365 and some on Notes. This is achievable using two connectors between Office 365 and the Domino Server. Once the connectors are in place, we would change the MX record to point to Office 365. If an email comes in for a mailbox that does not exist in Office 365, it would be passed on to Domino via the connector. As we are also leaving all mailboxes in place within Domino, we would have to set that up to pass all emails, including those for internal recipients, via the connector to Office 365.

I have tried to set up the Office 365 to Domino connector but it failed as TLS was not enabled on Domino's incoming SMTP port. When I did enable this, it still did not work and inbound emails from Google, Apple etc started to be rejected. After further investigation it became apparent that there is no SSL certificate setup on Domino so I think that we would need to buy and install one first.

Also, whilst doing this I noticed that the [url removed, login to view] for the server doesnt exist and my understanding is that we cannot import an SSL certificate without one.

So, we are looking for a Freelancer who can help us achieve all of the above on the Domino Server.
