We are using DD WRT firmware on TP Link TL WR3020. The router is use for creating a offline hotspot. We want to configure captive portal on the router such that any user who connects to the hotspot is automatically redirected to a website url. DD WRT firmware is shipped with NoCatSplash captive portal but it will not work if the router does not have active internet connection or WAN Connection Type is set as static. Both applies to our hotspot as well. Ideal candidate should be able to configure or customize the DD WRT firmware to enable captive portal for our setup

Hello , I pretty sure is a DNS problem . First client browser try to get IP for domain name and after try to connect using port 80. Relevant Skills and Experience Is an workaround for this DNS issue. Also we must add 443 redirect . I'm sure over 99% clients try https. (facebook , google) Let's talk in PM .
