Hello,
i need a QNAP Nas experienced guy to fix the access problems to my Nas. Also you should have good network experience with windows.
im using a QNAP TS-412 NAS System with 4 2GB harddisks in a raid 10.
Since some time i have problems to access the nas through windows. The login details are not accepted even though i enter them correctly. I tried this many many times and tried many settings in the web interface of the NAS but nothing is working.
Im not sure if something is wrong in the NAS config or maybe in my Windows computer.
Maybe you need to connect by SSH or telnet to the NAS to fix the access / user rights or fix something in my windows computer. We can work on this by teamviewer.
I would really appreciate if someone could help me out so i can get access to the files again.
thanks

Hello ,
Dont worry about web access on you QNAP NAS ,your data are secured .
The WEB Management interface is independent from the RAID Controler of the QNAP .
I also have a QNAP TS-451 and once i had some access problems cos my ip was in black list for too many fail access .
Just let me access it through SSH and I will create a user with full administrative privilege and through this we can open web UI .
Worst case we do a Hardware reset by the physical reset button located on the back of the unit .
Don't hesitate to contact me for any question .
Best regards
Besi
