I live in a household with seven kids under the age of 15. I watch a lot of children's films. I also happen to love them myself. I'm interested every time I hear mention of a new kids' movie.
I can give you great feedback on which script will have the broadest appeal. I can tell you whether the script will keep the little people engaged and begging to watch it again, or if most of it will go over their heads. I can also let you know if any older siblings/ adults will want to break the DVD after the first viewing. Ideally, you want your film to appeal to everyone. That way the whole family doesn't mind watching the movie for the third time in a row. Believe me, I know what makes a film enjoyable (or at least tolerable) for the whole family.
I expect to get this done in under a week, but I will give you daily reports on my progress. My plan of attack is to read both scripts separately. To avoid any bias, please don't let me know which one is mostly your work. If it isn't apparent which is better, I'll do a side-by-side analysis. If I still can't decided, I'll give you detailed notes on each's strengths, weaknesses, and the age group they will most likely appeal to.
If you are interested, I can also offer advice on how to increases the film's quality. What that looks like, (ideas on plot improvement, memorable lines, or just whether or not I would watch it myself) is up to you. I can also proofread. All this will be included in my fee of $20.
