Hi, do you want to target any specific geographies or what? for online retailing, IMHO, we shall always break down our entire conversion chain into two blocks. ie. miner conversions and major conversions.
miner conversions are like inquiries, like someone checking our product page. like checking our shipping policy & shipping rates because these shows the primary indication that a visitor might consider buying from us.
while on other hand major conversion are jackpots like orders.
So, IMHO, for an ecommerce store, the strategy should always be to advertise and grow their mailing list subscribers base, and then promote or cross sell them via different mediums like mailers, retargeting af campaignining etc..
