Here at EDLounge and EDArcade, we have an exciting opportunity for you to produce game artwork for an educational minigame called 'Buck-a-Mood!'. This is loosely based on the board game 'Buck-a-Roo!'. It needs menus, a mule/donkey, background images, boxes and some other small items (full details given to successful bider). It is a simple minigame with simple graphics and so the budget is £100 maximum
This minigame is aimed at primary school children so the style will be cartoon, fun, simple. This project does allow for your creativity and we will consider different styles of illustration, so feel free to suggest and show us samples via a message on here.
Examples of artwork from past minigame projects attached
• The art work needs to be created in Adobe Illustrator.
• Each sprite etc has to be saved out and properly named
• All sprites to be saved as .png
• All sprites need to be saved WITH transparency
• Each sprite needs to be in a 'power of 2' sized artboard/image (16x16, 32x32, 64x64, 128x128 etc). It is ok if there is some blank space around the sprite within the artboard/image
• Original files and saved assets/sprites MUST be submitted and checked by us before payment is released
• ALL ARTWORK MUST BE ORIGINAL ARE NOT INFRINGE ON ANY COPYRIGHTS/TRADEMARKS ETC,. it is YOUR responsibility that you produce legally original artwork.
• If you are successful on being awarded this project, read the GDD and the terms and conditions and NDA and ask any questions BEFORE starting any work. You can also email us for support or more information any time.
• A full list of graphics will be provided in a concise GDD (game design document) to help with example images etc.
• We are happy to accept low bids from new freelancer.com users who wish to build a reputation on this website.
• There will be repeat work for good freelancers and we are willing to accept ideas for future games from good game artists.
