Technically, you need to be sound in the following concepts: • Excellent grasp of HTML 5, CSS, Responsive design concepts. • Should be able to translate designs from PSD/Illustrator to HTML/CSS. • Experience with Frameworks such as Twitter Bootstrap/Foundation CSS • Excellent skills in AngularJS, JQuery, JQuery UI. • Write cross browser compatible code to give consistent experience across multiple browsers and platforms. • Strong understanding of client-server architecture /web applications • Familiarity with Linux, GIT, Nginx and MySql. Additionally, you need be good at: • Solving problems independently • Communicating in the English language • Understanding customer requirements & translating them into elegant technical solutions. • Adhering to deadlines and willing to go the extra mile when needed. Brownie points for: • Expertise in Wordpress development. • Familiarity with nodeJS. • Familiarity with REST APIs. • Familiarity with React. • Familiarity with JS design patterns and write modular code that can be unit tested • Familiarity with SEO best practices.
