Usability, intuitive, conversion and outstanding design focussed rebrush/rebuild of an existing laravel website

Info for freelancer staff: I don't want a "free" recruiter on this!!

The website already exists and has a lot of functions. It was built in Laravel, so you need to know your way around that. On top of that, and that is the main focus, I need a freelancer with fresh, creative design ideas, experience in design, usability and intuitive user experience.

You work closely together with me and keep me up to date. I want to know what is going on before I get presented with fixed results that I might not like.

You have an affinity with German (optional). The website is in German.

You design websites with a wow effect that are still super fast, easy to use without much explanation (intuitive). You know the psychology behind efficient and attractive web layouts. Your designs are perfect on every device and in every resolution and absolutely responsive.

You know european data (optional) and standard copyright law (you don't just take things off the internet for your designs, you create the things yourself)

You build webdesigns that convert visitors into users by guiding them intuitively.

You can program features in Laravel and edit existing code flawlessly and with comments and coding standards, so that I find my way around it as well.

You work fast and accept feedback. You are a perfectionist. You don't bill every little thing and count the revisions, you just eally don't stop until it's perfect and everyone is satisfied.

You voice feedback and suggestions, active input! Tell me what you think so we can find a good solution together.

Sounds like an absolute nightmare for a freelancer? I bet :P But I am really not that difficult. I just want to be clear in what I need and I want the website to be awesome.

My website is about user created stories.

Users should register on the website to write stories. Existing stories should be presented beautifully and easy to navigate, on desktop and mobile (on any device and browser really) in a way that entices visitors to share their own stories or interact with existing stories (comment, like - functionality already exists and works)

More projects possible in the future.

I will select freelancer after some discussion, mind exchange and sketching ideas. No "hire now, I can do everything" mentality please. That just doesn't work. I want to know/see what your suggestion is before we start.

Okay let's cut this short: Show me a design you made that has any "wow" effect or especially amazing look to it. No templates, wordpress pre-made stuff etc. I want to open the website and be like "this is great". On top of that, Laravel.
