Hello, We are looking for a book designer that will create beautiful front and back covers that stand out amongst the rest. We a new publishing company focused in the non-fiction / health & fitness category. We produce anywhere from 4-8 books per month at the moment, however this number will only be scaling up as the months go by. (To ensure you had read this job post thoroughly, please make sure you start your job post with the keyword "Halloween"). We are looking for one book cover designer that will join our team and will help us handle all of our designs in-house. We are only looking for only one because we want to make sure we have consistancy amongst all our branded books and all of our designs we will be needing in the future. So, you are bidding a long-term / quite a large contract that will ensure a steady flow of continual repeat buisness. What I'm looking for in this job posting: - A designer that will seek to understand what the book is about and create a catchy and appealing book cover (for both Kindle & Createspace) that stands out amongst the rest of the books in the space (delivered in JPEG, PNG or PDF Format). - A designer that will not mind making a few revisions and will be open to constructive feedback. - Bonus but not mandatory: A designer that will be able to create in-design book graphics. Also, It is not mandatory to have experience designing covers for Kindle & Createspace, however you will have to learn how to design them based on their specific requirements. However, experience in this field would definitely help. Please make sure to show me your portfolio, as I would love to see some of the previous works you have done. Also, let me know what value you could bring to our team and our company and how you can relieve us from some of the design challenges we face.
