My heart laughs

First things first. I need you to understand German reasonably well. I am British, but my project is in Germany and all texts are German. I am currently setting up a social business to support parents of chronically ill children. My argument is that charities support families from only one illness, whereas parents themselves do not suffer from this illness. The problems parents of chronically ill children have are the same no matter what the illness. There is no support for these parents on a large scale. Lots of tiny charities do wonderful work for a very small amount of people. I want to pool all this hard work and make it available to all parents of children with any chronical illness. Parents generally put themselves a long way down on the list of priorities. I want to motivate them to look after themselves more to be able to support their children better. The Plattform is called "My heart laughs " in German "Mein Herz lacht". It will offer individual profile pages, a forum, charity pages (ie for a sponsored run), pooled articles from numerous charities, expert tips, motivational tips. The focus in on the parent and their needs and worries, rather than the needs they have for their children. ie. marriage problems, anxiety, depression, lack of social contact, no time for hobbies, no time for themselves. I am at the start of my project. No matter what I do - a power presentation, website, logo - I get really frustrated with design. I place great value on design and unfortunately lack the natural talent. I am looking for a family friendly design, open-minded, motivational - all in all positive design. My son drew a little heart man, that I would like to integrate. Its orange. I am happy with orange but not fixed on it. Used to it I guess. The Logo needs to be flexible to include a phrase underneath as part of the logo, but also needs to work without the phrase. Mein Herz lacht - the little heart man - and phrase "Eine Plattform für betroffene Eltern" Generally I would like to start with logo and colour scheme for web and other presentation media.
