I am in the initial phases of launching a design led - products lifestyle business for the Book Lovers community in North America. I will initially be offering T Shirts, Mugs, Cushion Covers, Diaries, Tote Bags, Bookmarks and Key Chains that showcase humour, sass and great design. These products are meant to show case reading as a cool activity and aims to bring an overall sense of happiness to its buyers through its design led and humour infested content. I am looking for graphic designers that can picturize satirical phases into colourful illustrations. Great illustration designs and lots of colour is key here for my project. The project will initially start with up to 7 deliverables (1 catch phrase for each of the 7 products = 7 messages in total) for my prototype products and then expand depending on how well its received in the market. The deliverables should keep the following focus in mind: 1. These products are being built for the fun-loving booklovers. The phrases have been conceptualized by professional comedy writers. The graphics need to depict teenagers, millennials ( men and women in their early 20’s ) and women ( In their mid 40s). 2. The products should be designed in mind with the lifestyle of book lovers. I would like to avoid recyclable illustrations that are available out there. Originality is key here. One of the companies that have inspired this business is called Chumbak ([login to view URL]). This is a brand based out of India that focuses on looking at the Indian way of life with satire and humour. I want to focus on the book lover’s community using similar design and saas. I encourage you to have a look for further ideas. As a starting point, I have also attached a few samples of illustrations of what I am looking for.
